Making A Connection
A garden is nothing without a connection to it. The American poet Maya Angelou proclaimed, ‘it is how you are made to feel that is memorable’.
Throughout our design and communication, we aim to create spaces that inspire and connect with you, fulfilling your functional needs, whether it’s a place to be with friends and family, or simply a space to escape and relax.
Conscientious Approach
From the initial client communication, to the materials used, and the landscape in which your design sits, a conscientious approach is adopted throughout.
Through sharing knowledge on design, the journey is enjoyable and exciting.
It doesn’t end when construction stops. After services designed to empower you in maintaining, developing and sustaining your new space are available.
Environmentally Responsible
Landscape architects and garden designers have a duty to educate on the issues of climate change with an opportunity to bring awareness and change through design - education can be beautiful.
Designs will:
be responsive to environmental change and use innovative new materials
have increased permeability for water drainage
provide planting schemes for an ever changing climate
increase biodiversity through planting local and UK native species
promote a pesticide free approach through using natural and cultural controls
manage maturity to ensure longevity of the design
Carbon Conscious
In order to reduce our carbon footprint, designs will;
reuse suitable materials already found on site
source eco materials wherever possible and use FSC & PEFC certified timber
Forest Stewardship Council & Endorsement of Forest Certification
promote peat free and organically grown plants
locally source plants and materials wherever possible, reducing transportation costs
